Established in 2018 the Youth Alive Foundation Botswana is a youth based organisation with the mandate of developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and young professionals. The foundation achieves its mandate through the running of the following Programs -Mentor-ship and Coaching -Information Hub -Professional Development -Skills Exchange -Computer Literacy Annually the foundation hosts the Youth Alive Seminar (YAS) this is a project we have been running since 2017. YAS is an interactive engagement where we bring under one roof seasoned entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and captains of industry to discuss issues leading to the economic development of youth in Botswana. Outcomes of the Youth Alive Seminar has been the projects under the above mentioned programs which the foundation is currently rolling out. Such include: 1. Convo Lounge Mentorship project is aimed at bridging the gap between what tertiary graduates and the needs of the job market. 2. Botswana Youth Tour is a national capacity building project on entrepreneurship and developing the creative arts to be growth and profit driven. The project hopes to develop programs tailored to the needs of each district in Botswana and subsequently the formation of crowdfunding platform for the development local economies. 3. Push Start Program aimed at developing TVET students to turn their ideas into operational businesses/cooperatives.
