The Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation (SKMF) was founded in 2007 by the former President of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency Sir Ketumile and Lady Masire. SKMF works with Youth and strives to facilitate and drive efforts to promote: Peace and Good Governance, Children’s Welfare, and Innovation & Alternatives in Agriculture. SKMF was established through a “NOTARIAL DEED OF TRUST” and is run by a Secretariat under the guidance of a Board of Trustees comprising members with various backgrounds. The trustees are appointed for a 3-5 year term. Sir Ketumile is the Patron of the Foundation.
