INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT (IIDE) DESCRIPTION Head-quartered in Botswana, Gaborone , International Institute of Development and Empowerment (IIDE) is a non-profit organization that offers support and assistance to marginalized, poor and least developed communities, women, youth and children, private and government institutions through policy advocacy, research collaborations, outreach programs, entrepreneurial and skill training. The organization is made up of a youthful multinational visionary team from Botswana, Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe whose aim is to improvie the livelihood of communities living in the developing world OBJECTIVES The organization aims; a) To develop capacity at community and institutional level through economic, entrepreneurial and special skills training b) To empower women and children through policy advocacy, support of community based youth and women’s initiatives and promotion of female education. c) To promote health through promoting public health and hygiene awareness through outreach programs in marginalized, poor and least developed communities and schools through various platforms. d) To promote sustainable development through applied research collaborations with existing institutions academic, private or government to develop capacity in areas of water sanitation and health WASH. e) To increase resilience in vulnerable and marginalised communities through community based poverty reduction initiatives.
